How To Set Your Goals

Every person in the world dedicates immeasurable hours to looking upon their future and their present situation in life.  Almost everyone wishes that there was something that they could change in their life.

Whether you dream of a new car, a boat, or even to be a movie star, goal setting is the essential catalyst to your success.  So let’s start now because you will now learn the basic principles of goal setting, which begins with – how to choose the Proper goals to concentrate on.

Many of us are great at trying to set goals; most of us are inadequate at following through with them.

Think about it …

How often have you decided on a course of action and simply didn’t follow through with it?

That is pretty much the average for virtually all of us.

Sometimes even writing goals at all is the harder part of accomplishing any.  The easiest way of looking at this is to think of each and every New Year.

What’s the biggest topic of conversation every year on New Year’s Eve? It’s in reality the resolutions.  But most of us will only keep our resolutions for a brief time.  With every passing day and week, fewer and fewer of us STICK to our plans – our goals!

Sometimes setting goals alone is not the only problem that you must face.  Sometimes, choosing the right goals to begin with is tougher.

Basically, you can choose to work any goal that you feel is required for your health, stability and happiness.

Goal setting is nothing more than a literary process for individual planning.  By setting goals on a everyday basis you decide what you want to achieve, and then move in a step-by-step manner towards the accomplishment of these goals.

The process of setting goals and targets allows you to choose where you want to go in life.  By knowing exactly what you want to achieve, you know what you have to concentrate on to do it.

Goal setting is a standard technique used by professional athletes, successful business people and high achievers in all fields.  It gives you long term vision and supplies you with short term motivation.

It helps to focus your attention and knowledge which facilitates you to coordinate your resources.  By setting clear and clearly razor-sharp goals, you can measure and take pride in the achievement of those goals.  You can see forward progress in what could previously have appeared to be a long worthless effort.

By setting goals, you will also raise your self confidence, as you recognize your ability to meet the goals that you have set.  The process of achieving goals and experiencing this accomplishment gives you confidence that you will be able to attain higher and more difficult goals down the road.

Goals are set on a number of different levels.  In the first place, you decide what you want to do with your life and what large scale goals you want to achieve.

Second, you split these down into the smaller targets that you must attain so that you reach your overall life goals.

In The End, once you have your plan, you set about working towards achieving it …

The Secret of Creative Visualization

Just by conjuring up a strong mental image of what we really want in our mind, can everything really fall into place?  It is said this will happen, if you will apply this wonderful phenomenon in your life and impress it deeply in your mind, heart and soul, thereby creating an upbeat stream of pure positive thoughts across the universe.

Are you ready to be intrigued with the secret of creative visualization?

Creative visualization is the process of forming a vibrant and detailed picture in your mind of whatever you want.  Whatever one conceives, one can achieve.  The mental images formed are essential in fueling the entire process of achieving your goals, dreams and aspirations.

It is the true starting point, everything you see around you had first to exist as a simple thought in someone’s mind, before it could be thought out and then created.

Visualization is said to provide as much benefit as actually carrying out the activity, this is because we often find pictures and stories the easiest to remember.  When you hold in mind an activity or visualize yourself carrying out an activity there is as much brain activity, as when you are actually doing it.

By visualizing you’re desired outcome you are literally creating new neural pathways and associations in the brain …

Good visualization starts with a clear and concise image in mind of your ideal outcome or goal.

Picture the scene that you would most like to create, no matter what it is, visualize yourself succeeding.  You can use your imagination to reinforce the image you have in mind and if any negative thoughts arise when you are visualizing, then simply let the negative thoughts go!

For best results we should visualize all the steps involved in our activity or goal and not just the outcome.  To do this simply start out with your final step in mind and then work your way backwards until you reach the first step or starting point!

Everything that has happened in your life in the distant past, whatever is currently happening in the present state and even that which will be happening in the near future, have been created in your mind at one point or another.  They were formed concretely by virtue of the mental images you generated.

This seemingly simple exercise will bring you to greater heights and take you to places you never knew existed, or even gave a thought to in the past.

Your Subconscious Mind Power

Your subconscious mind can solve problems for you effortlessly, even while you sleep. It can also free your body and mind – from all kinds of physical and material bondage…

You Can Have Anything You Want! : Part 2

If you vibrate neutral energy most of the time, or kind of feel very even-tempered, then you are in a good position to begin vibrating more positive energy.

To change from a predominantly negative pattern of thought to a positive pattern of thought, you need to being changing your negative thoughts when they occur.

The way to do this is to begin noticing when you feel bad.  If you are upset, angry, frustrated, sad, or stressed, you should stop for a moment and ask yourself, “What am I thinking?“  You will always find that your emotions come from your current thoughts.

In fact, your emotions always arise from your thoughts, and you can control your emotions by learning to alter your thoughts.  When you catch yourself in a negative pattern, stop and take some deep breaths.  If you can, play some music that makes you feel good.

Or think about something you really enjoy doing or someone you really love and a special time you spent with them.  Basically, distract your thoughts away from the negative and towards the positive.

This will change your emotion very quickly to a positive feeling …

It may take a bit of work at first, but if you can learn to predominantly vibrate with positive energy, you will attract predominantly positive things and people into your life.

There is no luck involved, there is no chance.  Everything in life is the way it is according to the Law of Attraction and each individual’s thinking processes.
